The 2026 Symposium on Cryptography and Information Security (SCIS2026) was held in person at the Hakodate Arena in Hakodate City over five days, from Monday, January 26 to Friday, January 30. The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including post-quantum cryptography, symmetric-key cryptography, cryptographic theory, malware, AI security, blockchain, privacy protection, automotive security, and card-based and block ciphers. The event also featured invited talks, poster sessions, panel discussions, night sessions, and a social gathering. During the social gathering and Q&A sessions, attendees engaged in active exchanges of various opinions and ideas.
