The 45th Joint Conference on Medical Infomatics was held in Himeji. This annual conference, held in November, brings together approximately 3,400 experts from medical, information technology, and medical device fields.

Presentations cover a wide range of topics, from healthcare challenges and clinical trial research to nurse scheduling issues, improving operating room utilization, and medical data privacy and secondary use.

With corporate exhibits also present, it is an exceptionally diverse conference where attendees can gather a wide variety of information.
