The International Symposium on Information Theory and Its Applications 2024 (ISITA 2024) was held face-to-face in Taipei, Taiwan for four days from November 10 to 13, 2024. This symposium is mainly focused on information theory, and there were sessions on various topics such as coding theory, quantum information theory, statistical learning, signal processing, as well as security areas such as cryptography theory, AI security and privacy, and biometrics.
In addition to the three plenary talks, poster sessions were also held. The acceptance rate of papers was 76% (81/104). The exchange of opinions was active in a wide range of fields, and it was a good opportunity to make connections with researchers in other fields.
