A joint research workshop involving the Information Security Research Group (ISEC), the Technical and Social Ethics Research Group (SITE), and the Life Intelligence and Office Information Systems Research Group (LOIS) was held over two days, November 14-15, 2024, at the Minamikindai Building in Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including signatures, homomorphic encryption, lightweight cryptography, and quantum-resistant cryptography. There were also discussions on machine learning applications such as facial recognition and plaintext prediction using neural networks. Participants gained valuable insights into various attack and defense methodologies.

The Q&A sessions facilitated dynamic exchanges of diverse opinions.
