The Computer Security Symposium 2024 (CSS 2024) was held in Kobe from October 22 to October 25, 2024, with both in-person and online sessions. The symposium covered a wide range of security topics, including fundamental theories of computer security, communication protocols, computer architecture, operating systems, applications, case studies, management and operations, as well as psychological and sociological perspectives. Additionally, seven focused workshops (MWS, PWS, UWS, OWS, BWS, AWS, FWS) were jointly held to facilitate in-depth discussions on specific themes. Participants were able to expand their knowledge across various areas of security research, from foundational studies to practical applications, with lively exchanges of views during the Q&A sessions.
