Appearance of the conference

SCIS2019 was held for four days from 22nd to 25th January at Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel. Yoshiharu Habu, who is a professional shogi player and received People's Honour Award in 2018, gave a keynote. This year, it attracted over 800 attendees, which is the largest gathering ever. Especially, there are 5 sessions about car security and block chain respectively, and it shows recent trends in this area.
