Participants

Reports
In this year, AINA received 583 paper submissions and accepted 154 papers (about 26% acceptance ratio).
People from many countries attended the conference. Unlike otehr international conferences I joined,
I found many Japanese researchers both from the university and industry in this conference.
Another interesting thing in this conference is all the session chairs presented papers in his/her session.
Though this is IEEE conference, attendance/participants were remarkable. We enjoyed talks of Prof. Shojiro
Nishio, Osaka University, Japan who lectured on Humanware: The Third Ware Which Creates Innovation in
Information Technology.
Conference venue was very nice. Victoria Univerity is renowned university in Canada. The location was
attractive and the weather was in our favor.
