Pairing 2010 Registration

The registration fee for Pairing 2010 is as follows. This includes admission for all technical sessions, exhibits, proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, and banquet.

* A student needs to bring a student identification card or a proof of your student status such as a letter from his/her supervisor at Pairing 2010, which will be checked at the registration desk.

Participants from Japan can pay by a bank transfer to the following bank account.

The payment by a bank transfer must be done within a week after your registration. The bank transfer fee is paid by you. Right after you transfer money, please e-mail us pairing2010@or.knt.co.jp immediately together with your name and registration number.

Registration deadline

Pairing 2010 Registration website will close after the deadline by a credit card.

Anyone wishing to register after the deadline may register onsite at Pairing 2010.

Registration procedure

Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. (KNT) has been assigned as the official registration office for Pairing 2010 and will handle the registration. For on-line registration procedures, please visit the Pairing 2010 Registration website.

Cancellation policy

The registration fee can be refunded if you notify us of your cancellation through the Pairing 2010 Registration website before or on November 27, 2010. You will receive 100% refund except for remittance charge. There will be no refund after November 27, 2010.

Stipends

A limited number of stipends and a reduced registration fee are available to those unable to obtain funding to attend the conference, and to students whose papers are accepted and who will present the paper themselves. Requests for stipends should be addressed to the general chair until August 26.

How to apply for stipends

1. Complete the online grant application form. Your Supporting Statement is the most important part of your application: it should describe your current research projects and how the conference will relate with it and be helpful and claim how your paper is attractive to Pairing 2010 attendees.
2. Do make conference reservations early.

5. Successful applicants will be determined by the paper and the statement.
6. Stipend grants will be determined by comparative assessment among applicants.
7. Grants will be issued on site of Pairing 2010.
